After arriving in Canberra and setting up our first visit in the Capital was to Maria and Greg’s place.

The next day Bessy and Russell were off to the kennels for two days so that we could get down to some serious sightseeing.

The first day Greg played tour guide which was very helpful as we got our bearings around the city.

First on list was the War Memorial followed by a drive along Anzac Parade and the a tour around old and new Parliament House. I didn’t take many photos as I was to busy checking out the sights. Neither Peter or I have ever been to Canberra before!!

We had a wonderful few days – very cold – but hey it is Canberra. Had a special dinner with the kids at a Japanese Restaurant and dinner at their place as well.

We will be slowly heading back towards home for here – not a quick dash- but homeward bound.
