Broome

Spent 9 days in Broome – all at the Tarangau Caravan Park. Some kind of record for us. We were not sure how long the new fridge would take to get to Broome so played it safe.

Fridge arrived after four days and a delightful young couple (Christie and Scott) helped remove and install the new fridge. Peter did the carpentry work so the fridge would fit in cabinetry and the youngsters did all the heavy lifting and fitting. I supervised. A big thank you to them.

Broome is definitely what it looks like when desert meets beach. We spent lots of time walking on beach, looking at sunsets, fishing and a few very nice meals out and about.

Cable Beach

The famous Cable beach is quite spectacular at sunset. The park we stayed at was at Cable beach, not on beachfront, but the camels walked past us each afternoon on their way to work with the sunset rides

Our next port of call is Exmouth via Karrartha and a few overnight stops

Salt mine at Port Headlands – because I forgot it last post
