Playing Tourist inWA
So we have been playing tourist and spending some time visiting a few of the local attractions including the HMAS Sydney II Memorial. Neither Peter or myself were aware of this maritime disaster. The memorial is quite stunning and a very fitting and respectful tribute to the 645 Australian men who lost their lives on the 19th of November, 1941. I will include a link to the website for anyone who would like to know more around the sinking of the ship and design of the memorial.
“Horizon” is a large glass sphere half filled with water which reflects the surroundings. We still have to make a sunset visit.
