After our few days in Toowoomba visiting friends we are finally on the road “for real”.
Everything seems to be working as it is meant to and our investment in the lithium battery and new solar panels seems to have payed off. After using fans, lights and charging all manner of devices last night, not to mention running Peter’s CPAP and the big arse 12v fridge (240L), we still had heaps of power. It was raining when we left the free camp outside of Moree this morning and despite very limited solar to assist with charging from car we arrived in Collie with a full charge of 500 amp hours.
We are camped at the “Oval” in Collie (listed in WikiCamps ) and the day has turned into a fine afternoon. So far only ones here so dogs have free range – happy little campers.

Might stay for a rest and test day tomorrow. Rest because I get sick of driving every day and test because Peter is a new drone pilot. This is the perfect spot for some flights and photos. No one around to annoy or crash into!!
