Up in Bowen for a week to recharge the batteries and give Russell a road test. 

For those of you who are not aware we have a new member of the family – Russell. He is a foxy/ jack Russell cross all of 14 weeks old now. This is his first road trip and I must say he seems to be born to travel. Well behaved (mostly), loves the car and van, and does not mind being tired up when he has to. 

Bowen has turned on the fine weather for us. We have not really been doing much of anything. Walking on the beach, reading, fishing and admiring the view. Quite a bit of eating and drinking to.
Back to work for me next week. Peter is still on holidays – gezz them school kids have a lot of holidays. 
Bessy and Russell are really into the big walks and even biggest sleeps afterwards. Maybe we should just keep on traveling!!
