This post has nothing to do with travel, it’s just about our baby boy – Christopher.
CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS
Chris, Robyn, Greg and David
Proud Mum and Chris
Chris and friends with cake made by the talented Robyn (and yes the siren worked)
On Wednesday the 10th of December Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic) with distinction. He is now a qualified diesel mechanic, fireman and Paramedic. I think this time he has found his true calling.
I flew to Brisbane for the graduation and was joined by two of our other son’s, David and Greg to celebrate with Chris and Robyn and friends. Unfortunately Peter could not get time off and was very disappointed not to be able to join us, but still the proud Dad none the less.
After the graduation I went on to Mackay to catch up with the rest of the family and our friends. It was great to see everyone and of course made me very homesick. And my God was it hot! I am never going to complain about the cool weather down here in Tassie again.
Greg is joining us for Xmas down here, Robyn has traveled back to Canada to spend Xmas with her family and new nephew and Matthew and David are spending Xmas with their Grandparents in Mackay. Chris will be working hard in his new job out of the Ambulance station in Lowood.
Peter and I would like to wish all our family, friends and blog followers a great Xmas and a safe New Year. There will be more travels in 2015 – so stayed tuned.
