So the tulip festival has been and gone. I can see why they say it is the biggest event in the year in Wynyard.

I had to work in the morning so missed the “Grand Parade”, but things were still hopping in the afternoon when I finished. We live right beside the Park so did not have to worry about parking – just a short stroll down to the seaside and we were there.

All the fun of the fair, with lots of people, tulips, music, food and everything ending in the evening with fireworks over the river. At last something other than the dog to take pictures of!
