Finally at last – SNOW. It is pretty cold, but then I suppose it has to be for snow.

This morning we went for a drive up into the mountains back to Waratah to check out the snow. It was only about a couple of feet deep in most places, but for us Queenslanders fairly impressive. Bessy just loved it. Who would have thought that a girl from “The Alice” would like snow so much – maybe she is a alpine dingo after all.

Could not resist a bit of off roading

We made a snowman, through snowballs at one another, and to Bessy, and generally froze our butts of because we don’t have proper snow gear. We then retreated to the warmth of a cafe for hot coffee and warm food. All in all a pretty good day.
