Well still not much is happening down in Tassie. My casual – come part time job now seems to be full time, and I have had enough of driving back and forwards from the hills of Yolla.

We are now Wynyard wanderers, who are not doing much wandering. We have rented a house in Wynyard about 1min from the beach and 5minuites walk from where I am working. The big bonus is that I can sleep for an extra hour on the mornings I work. It is also nice to be able to stroll down to the beach with Bess (when it’s not raining) and walk to the shops, rather than driving everywhere all the time.

Enough of Tasmania – I cannot believe QLD have lost the State of Origin, although after eight years straight, I suppose we should give poor old NSW a chance. For those of you who do not know a thing about Rugby League and the war that wages between QLD and NSW here in Australia, follow the link to find out about the greatest rivalry in the world, not to mention the best game!!!

Bessy is finally staring to mature a bit and is losing some of her silly puppy ways, so I am hoping when we hit the road again she will be the best behaved traveling dog in Oz.

Speaking of hitting the road – I have been considering joining the Circus. It is something we considered when we first set out. Another couple we known from Mackay have been working with and traveling with the Circus and are having a ball, so you never know – “The fat man and the bearded lady perhaps”? Let me know your thoughts.

If have a few days in a row off coming up, so will do a bit of travel and post some more interesting pics in the next post. Still miss everyone, but I think we are missing the sunshine even more!
